A rural east African (possibly Luo) musician plays a traditional bongo (djembe) drum while three women dance energetically. The bare-footed musician and dancers wear colorful traditional African handprint, home-crafted, cotton dress and come with no background or one with the sun or moon. Traditional music is an important and integral part of east African culture performed at many festive ceremonies, religious events, and political rallies.

We are able to offer them at moderate prices by contracting directly with the artisan at fair trade prices from his Ugandan and Kenyan workshops. The batiks are produced following standard templates although similar, no two are identical even by the same artist each one is unique and an individual picture that will enhance the décor of your home or office that you will be proud to own or gift. From a distance, the batiks will appear to be identical, close inspection will show slight differences in color patterns and design due to the work being done free hand. Also background colors may vary slightly from the generic listing photographs due to different batches of dyes and style of background finish.
