The chic, highly fashionable, unisex, four-knot (4) genuine African elephant hair bracelet is universally worn by men and women. Considered to be a good luck talisman. The bracelet adjusts using ancient knot technology brought to Africa from Asia by Arab traders to fit most wrist sizes. One or more knots may slide with the rest fixed. The knots tend to smaller than those found on the 2 and 3-knot styles to minimize any discomfort when ones arms are resting on a hard surface.
According to African legend, these bracelets offer protection and great fortune to the wearer. The knots represent the powerful earth forces water, sun, fire and wind. The strands symbolize the seasons. Moving the knots along the strands is thought to create balance between earth and nature, and to bring harmony and well-being to those who wear it.

How to select the right size (See photographic illustration of the different sizes in picture C):
Petite is for dainty or children's wrists (palm measurement <2.75" [<70 mm]).
Regular is for most wrist sizes (palm measurement >2.75 <4" [>70 <100mm]).
Large is for the XL wrists (palm measurement >4" [>100 mm]).
For the best fit, we recommend that you measure your hand size with fingers closed as shown in picture B; send the dimensions in inches or metric when requested at checkout. Should the bracelet be too small (or large) we will gladly swap until you are satisfied.
The bracelets are guaranteed against defective workmanship; the quality and integrity of each bracelet is thoroughly checked before shipping. On receipt, please check that it opens and slides smoothly and that you are able to take it on and off comfortably without force and the knots are intact (no loose strands). In the unlikely event there are problems report same to us immediately. We are not able to replace bracelets at a later stage should they become defective for any reason as we have no control on how or in what environment they will be used.
Many years of wear may be anticipated with regular everyday use. For added enjoyment apply a drop of regular hair condition every few months or after the bracelet has been wet, this will help the knots slide, restore luster, and generally nourish and protect the bracelet. Also, avoid excessive force or rough handling to slide the knots open and closed as this may damage the hand-tied knots and compromise the bracelet's functionality.
