These beautiful, one-of-a-kind, 11"Ø tightly weaved baskets made from dried grasses, bark, ilala palm leaf in Binga, north western Zimbabwe sell for around $40 in the USA. We are able to offer them at moderate prices by contracting directly with the female artisans at fair trade prices. The last two pictures show one of the young women who weave these beautiful baskets and the typical attention to detail and finish that they pay even on the underside or base. These beautiful examples of African talent and art are unique in that no two are the same, however, similar the style and size.
